Unthil studied Kotoblade again, discovering an odd detail. “There is one aspect of him that is beyond the range of my Omniscience to analyze – his boots. The are likely what is boosting his power.”Paradoxus immediately sent forth a flurry of projectile attacks towards Kotoblade, but Kotoblade slashed his katana around incredibly fast and reflexively to block and destroy all of the projectiles. "Foolishness!" Said Kotoblade, before he was caught off guard and impaled from behind by another projectile that Paradoxus sent from a different direction. Kotoblade cried out in pain as blood spurted from his mouth. Then, a smile crossed his face as he burst into maniacal laughter. "Pain….this is why I fight!" Kotoblade declared, as he pulled the object out through the front of his chest with another burst of blood. He then slashed his katana at Paradoxus. Paradoxus expected the blow dealt by this seeming mortal to be unnoticeable and ineffective, but was surprised when he was slashed down his chest with it. A scorching blue mark was left in its metaspace, which did not fade or heal. Luckily, it was only superficial and had only damaged his outermost godsmoke. “Will you for once think with your metahead instead of your metafists? This is not an ordinary mortal we’re dealing with. We can’t just ‘stomp’ on him.” Unthil scolded as Paradoxus was wounded. Paradoxus growled at Unthil’s snide remark, but recognized he was right. “Ugh, fine…” Logixel rushed towards Kotoblade. “Hey, you don’t have to do this! Please, just surrender peacefully, and we won’t need to destroy you.” “You must be joking, brother! The petulant speck is going to be obliterated for what it has had the audacity to do to me!” Realitus proclaimed as he tried standing up. Kotoblade slung a ball of the Blue Flame towards Realitus, who narrowly succeeded in altering his position in metaspace to avert the projectile. Logixel sighed. “I guess I’ll take that as a ‘no’ from you, then.” The fireball struck a moncosm, burning a hole through its exterior and incinerating all of its contents. “The force he is controlling , it’s called Koto magic. It is derived from Elder’s Fire.” Unthil observed as he watched the Flame scorch through Beyond. “How do we extinguish it?” asked Logixel. Unthil mentally searched all of Beyond, attempting to find the necessary materials for putting out the flames. However, he could not locate what was needed. “We can’t.” he answered. “But we can contain it by stopping the spread.” Paradoxus turned to his father. “Conceptilum, what should we do?” Conceptilum stared down at Kotoblade. “Something unknown is making him more powerful than a normal mortal. We must first identify the source of the power and remove it in order to erase him.”

“What is this strange ape doing now, brothers?” Realitus asked in confusion.Imaginatim, as if having expected one of the other Supergods to tell her to do it for some reason, suddenly ran up to Kotoblade. “Hey, give those to me you big meanie!” she yelled as she tried to teleport the boots into her possession. Kotoblade responded to this action by striking Imaginatim in the face with a fireball of koto, causing her to fall down and whimper in pain and fear. As Logixel saw this, something suddenly snapped in him. His timidity and merciful nature was gone, replaced with a vengeful fury in his expression. “DON’T YOU DARE HURT HER!” he boomed, violently attacking him. Kotoblade conjured a pair of glasses from koto, just so he could push them up to his face, before proceeding to rapidly dodge all of Logixel’s attacks. The glasses dissipated as Kotoblade teleported behind Logixel, before ensnaring him in chains of koto. He grinned down at the helpless Supergod, as he tightened the chains. “Psssh, nothin’ personal, kid…” Conceptilum looked down at the enverselope The Recruiter had left them, and with reluctance he broke the seal. Within an instant, The Recruiter was there, and the Supergods were instantly healed of all prior injuries. She looked down at Kotoblade. “This would be a good metatime for you to give up.” Kotoblade did not relent, and instead did something else. He burned away his cloak, exposing his bare chest. He was muscularly built, with the toned definitions of a carved marble sculpture. Scars adorned his bare skin, from the many battles he experienced. On his back was a glowing fiery blue tattoo scrawled in koto, which read: At That Moment… Kotoblade flexed his muscles, showing them off to intimidate his opponents. “You’re fucking dead, kiddo!” he roared as he blasted a wave of koto, which to The Recruiter’s surprise knocked her off balance. “So much for being ‘super powerful’.” Unthil scoffed. “I am!” The recruiter snapped back defensively. “But the boots he is wearing are making it difficult for me to combat him. They match the wearer’s power to that of their opponent.” Suddenly, as if upon que, Kotoblade began belting the lyrics to a song, as the Koto instruments continued playing their music in the background. “BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIIIIIIIIN! CAST ASIDE THERE’S NO COMING HOOOOOME! WE’RE BURNING CHAOS IN THE WIIIIIIIIND! DRIFTING IN THE OCEAN ALL ALOOOOOOONE!”

“I only have one question.” spoke Imaginatim, as everyone looked at her. She paused, before asking, “Will there be cheese?”Then, Kotoblade formed an electric guitar out of Koto and began shredding it with a guitar solo. As he did so, waves and fireballs of koto flared out from the guitar and attacked the Supergods. The Supergods were scattered as they fled and took cover from this attack. The Supergods all tried their own method of restraining Kotoblade and removing the boots, but none of them worked. Finally, The Recruiter was able to corner him, and removed the boots, depowering Kotoblade. Kotoblade looked up at the Supergods and The Recruiter, glaring intensely at them. He rose up and began to give a speech. “You really don’t get it, do you? You truly believe that all this meaningless struggle will bring you any closer to preventing the destruction of everything? Our fates are already sealed. Regardless of what happens, we shall all be consumed by the yawning jaws of eternal nothing, as Existence itself is rent asunder!” “And what do you mean by that?” asked The Recruiter. Suddenly, the Blue Flame around him turned yellow, and Kotoblade screamed in pain. His flesh and bone burned away, incinerating his entire physical form. The etheric Djinn shed the flesh, free from the bond with Satoru. “It’s…a Djinn!” logixel exclaimed in surprise. He and the other Supergods then recognized it as the Djinn they had banished long ago. The Djinn, incredibly disoriented, looked up at Logixel with a glare. “Yeah, what about it? Do you expect me to start breaking into some musical number about being your friend?” he gruffly replied. Before he could fully get his bearings or even figure out what had happened to himself however, The Djinn was suddenly warped away into a plume of Blue Flames. The Supergods briefly stood in shock, before Paradoxus yelled “Alright, what just happened?!” The Recruiter tended to the Supergods, instantaneously healing all the injuries they sustained from the prior battle. “Shall you be willing to hear me out now?”

CHAPTER 6

Hyperman stared down at the note, still studying it. Suddenly, Prismus startled him, causing him to accidentally break the seal. Instantaneously, The Recruiter was in the godverse. “Ah, it seems you have finally changed your mind.”

Hyperman turned at Prismus, giving it a glare that said “I am going to kill you when I get the chance.”

”I would hold off on destroying your companion. It too is valuable to the mission.” The Recruiter said, which disturbed Hyperman slightly.

He sighed, and turned to The Recruiter. “As much as I don’t want it to be true, I presume that the recent events that have happened to me are related in some way to you?”

The Recruiter grimly nodded. “The pieces of knight armor you have thus far recovered, they belong to a legendary hero. Individually, they grant great power to the wearer, allowing them to match the power of whatever opponent they face. But when together, they create a far more powerful weapon. For a very long metatime, they have been hidden, scattered all throughout Existence. But now they have resurfaced, and entities are taking advantage of their power.”

“How and why would they have resurfaced?” Asked Hyperman.

“…Because they are needed.” replied The Recruiter. She saw the confused expression that Hyperman gave in response to this, and she sighed. “I suppose some further elaboration is warranted. The hero I mentioned earlier, he scattered his gear across all corners of Existence, and it was decided that they would resurface when the metatime would come where he was once again needed to take up the mantle and defend Existence. Therefore, we must gather all the pieces of gear, and assemble them.”

“But, why would they be needed? What sort of threat would cause the pieces of gear to awaken?”

“That I do not yet know for sure… but I have my fears…”

Hyperman shook his head in disbelief. “This is all crazy. I don’t know why i’m even agreeing to do this.”

The Recruiter looked down at him. “Trigonum, if I'll be honest, you’re not all that special. I did not seek you out for any particular purpose. But you can make a difference in this coming conflict. You can help.”

Hyperman looked down, feeling an inner conflict as he weighed his options. Then, finally, he looked back up at The Recruiter. “How many more are needed?”

“Just two. You and I are going to focus on recovering one of them.”

“Okay, where is it?”

“In a beyond bubble within an alternate Transcendentem.”

The prospect of this statement made Hyperman admittedly nervous. Never before had he ever ventured so far past his home. But he knew that he would have to in order to succeed. “Okay, I am ready.” He said to The Recruiter.

The Recruiter nodded, and instantly they were teleported.

Location: Transcendentem-Tf(i)…

Hyperman, Prismus and The Recruiter arrived at the Beyond of this Transcendentem. Hyperman was surprised how drastically different it appeared from his native beyond bubble. It appeared more…industrialized, and controlled with mortal technology. But most notably, there wasn’t a single Supergod to be seen.

“This beyond bubble has recently driven back an invasion by the External Hazard. Much of the damages caused by the war are yet to be repaired. And some remnants of the Hazard’s presence still exist here, though to a lesser extent.” The Recruiter said.

“Where’s the Supergod Council?” Asked Hyperman.

“Dead.” Replied The Recruiter, as if that was all she expected that Hyperman was supposed to know. “Anyways, I have traced the location of the Shield to here. Unfortunately, I was only able to get a generalized location, as there is some kind of interference enshrouding the Shield that is making me unable to find the exact location.”

“So then what do we do?”

“We must split up, and cover logical ground manually.” She said. “I’ll go on my own, while you and Prismus go together.”

Hyperman nodded, as he and Prismus departed. “Okay, Prismus. I have a plan.” Hyperman announced.

“And what would that be?” asked Prismus.

“Judging by the pattern thus far with the other pieces of gear, The Shield may likely be kept by a large army or force. Some group with a lot of power or destructive capability.” Hyperman then approached Prismus. “Teleport me to the part of this beyond bubble that currently has the highest concentration of violence.”

“Erm…okay?” Prismus slowly said, unsure of this plan. It opened a portal, and Hyperman and Prismus entered through it.

Hyperman stumbled into a chaotic realm, which after a few metaseconds he recognized to be a version of Destroyer’s Godverse. Devils ran rampant throughout it, sowing destruction and chaos across the entire godverse. Or at least, that was what Hyperman initially thought. However, upon further inspection, he realized that most of the chaos was in fact being caused by something or someone else. He saw that the Devils were running not towards something, but rather away. Then, he peered further beyond to see one lone figure in pursuit. He was clad from head to toe in black soldier armor, worn and weathered from many battles. He was armed to the teeth with various weapons, many of which not even Hyperman knew the function. They were likely taken as trophies from the many enemies that this being had no-doubt killed. With guns in both hands, the being shot all around him at the various Devils, many of which not even bothering to stand their ground and instead fleeing from him. The being suddenly lost one of his guns as it was flung away from his hand, plummeting into the chaotic void. So instead he improvised, as a laser blade ejected itself from the back of his wrist cuff and he hacked at the Devils with it, beheading many of them. A group of devils launched projectiles at the being, who grabbed another devil to use as a living shield. When the shield had been sufficiently brutalized, the being dropped him as a large span of angelic wings unfurled themselves from his back. It was only then from this indication that Hyperman realized this being was of the Angel species, as the being flew to another section of the godverse. Not a few metamoments later and every single devil had been exterminated from the godverse. Upon this, the being turned to finally see Hyperman, still only halfway through the portal that Prismus had generated.

Hyperman was at a loss for words, unable to devise any proper introduction. “Uh…I…um…”

Gabriel thought for a moment, before speaking again. “You know, I may be willing to offer some help, seeing as you are somewhat of a celebrity around here; even if for the wrong reasons.”“-Fuck off.” The being replied, giving Hyperman the courtesy of a middle finger in case he had not verbally gotten his point across. “But I never even said anything!” Hyperman replied defensively. The being shook his head. “Wrong. You said ‘Uh…I…um…’.” he repeated, in a precise replication of Hyperman’s vocal pattern. Hyperman glared at the being in annoyance. “Look, you don’t have to be a smartass about it. I just need help in finding something-” The being scoffed. “I don’t offer ‘help’, buddy, especially not to random strangers who creepily watch me from portals.” Hyperman looked down and realized he was still standing inside the portal. Sheepishly, he quickly jumped out of it, the portal closing behind him. The figure squinted at Hyperman for a moment, as if processing his appearance. “Wait, you’re Hyperman!” he realized out loud. “I’ll be honest, I thought you were dead. Well, you might as well be, considering how much everyone here hates you.” Hyperman was confused, wondering what his alternate self could have done here. “I don’t get it. What did I do for everyone to want me dead?” The being was about to reply, but then realized that Hyperman didn’t quite seem “in the loop”. “Oh, I get it now. You’re an outsider, aren’t you? You know what then, maybe I shouldn’t tell you. Some things are best left unspoken.” Slowly, the being turned to Hyperman. “I’m Gabriel.” he introduced, extending his hand. Hyperman shook it. “I’m Hyperman – but you already know that.”

Gabriel gave Prismus the coordinates, and within metamoments they found themselves in a new metaspace. It was a megastructure city, which was converted by the original Godverse which had before been long-abandoned. As Hyperman looked around, he saw beings and creatures from a wide range of diverse backgrounds, walking the streets as equals. It almost faintly reminded him of the large cities he would walk in his human life, which by now felt like an eternity ago – because it was. Shortly afterward, a substance began falling down upon the city. Hyperman looked up. “Rain?” he asked out loud.Hyperman crossed his arms. “Okay, i’m listening.” “First, tell me what it is you are looking for.” Hyperman proceeded to explain what he was doing here, though he omitted any details that would make him sound crazy – which was nearly everything. So in the end, Hyperman really only told Gabriel that he was in search of a vague “shield”. After hearing the explanation, Gabriel was silent for a moment, as he began formulating a plan. Then, once one had finally come, he spoke. “Alright. There is this exclusive club located in the Creator godverse of a certain monocosm. All sorts of figures hang out there – very well-connected ones I should mention. If anybody can find or even have what you're looking for, it would be one of them. I can get you in, for a price.” “Of course, a price.” Hyperman sighed. “And what would that be?” Gabriel leaned forward. “Don’t blow your fucking cover. I am risking a lot to get you in here, so the least you can do is remain inconspicuous.” Hyperman slowly nodded, feeling a sense of unease but still determined to see through the plan. “Okay. Now, how do we get there?” “Isn’t it obvious? Your little friend over there.” replied Gabriel, pointing to Prismus. Prismus scoffed. “First of all, I am a lot bigger than how I appear externally.” it huffed. “Anyways, what are the coordinates?”

Gabriel shook his head. “No. That’s just caused by a leakage of Naughter from outside. A few things from the war haven’t yet been repaired.” he replied, as they both looked to see a mortal human scream out in pain while being dissolved by the naughter like it was acid.

Gabriel nonchalantly turned back to face Hyperman again.

“Seeing as you are a wanted man in these parts, I think you should conceal your identity. Here, put these on.” Gabriel said, tossing a fake beard and an umbrella hat to Hyperman as a seeming disguise. Hyperman Reluctantly slid them on.

As they walked towards the club, Hyperman was embarrassingly startled by a rumbling sound, which sounded like a crack of thunder. He also saw bolts of energy flashing above. “Thunder?” he slowly murmured out loud.“This getup is extremely stupid, not to mention impractical. How do I know you aren’t just doing this as an excuse to make me look funny?” “You don’t.” replied Gabriel, stifling a snicker. “Come on, this way. The club is not too many -verses ahead.”

Hyperman decided he would have a few more of these neat drinks, and it was then that his eyes were finally opened to all the “revelry” that Gabriel had spoken of earlier. He took part in it to no small degree, completely losing himself in the party. Soon, he was dancing among the others, surfing the crowd of onlookers encouraging this behavior.Gabriel shook his head again. “No. That’s just a chemical reaction caused by some del interacting with the naughter. Not sure where the del comes from, though.” Hyperman eventually approached the entrance to the club, the music growing ever closer. A large ten-armed cyborg stood as the bouncer, guarding the entrance. Gabriel whispered something to the bouncer, likely a passcode. The bouncer nodded, and turned around to the teleportation machine he was guarding. He entered the coordinates for the club, generating a portal before he stepped aside for Gabriel and Hyperman. Hyperman began to go through the portal, but stopped as he turned back to see that Gabriel wasn’t following him. “Hey, aren’t you going to come with me?” Gabriel shook his head. “I only promised to take you to the club. This is as far as I go.” Hyperman sighed. “Well, can’t you at least offer a small bit of advice so I’m not going into this unprepared?” Gabriel thought for a moment. “Well, I guess I can tell you this: expect the club to be very full and festive. Everybody is still celebrating the recent victory of the war, and they’re in high spirits. Hopefully, you can use this to your advantage and fly under the radar.” Hyperman was about to ask something else, but before he could, Gabriel was already ushering him towards the portal. “I wish you luck.” said Gabriel, as he hastily pushed Hyperman and Prismus into the portal. As Hyperman walked through the club, his attention was suddenly grabbed by a feminine figure seated nearby. She was elegant and sophisticated, and had an aura of authority to her. “Hey. You seem lost.” She called out to him. Hyperman turned to the woman. “Not really. I know where I’m supposed to go, but not how to get there.” “Well, why don’t you stop and gather some provisions for the perilous journey ahead?” she asked jokingly, in a sarcastically serious voice. She pointed to a vacant metaspace beside her. Hyperman weighed his options, before reluctantly sitting down. Prismus is still searching for The Shield. A small break wouldn’t hurt. He thought to himself. It was then that the woman slid an object towards Hyperman. Upon further inspection, he saw that it was a cupverse, filled with a mysterious logical liquid. He stared down at it oddly, attempting to study it. The woman leaned forward. “Well, aren’t you going to drink it?” “Oh!” Hyperman said, finally realizing what it was supposed to be. He then shook his head. “Sorry, I couldn’t.” The woman scoffed. “Come on, you’re clearly tense!” What is she talking about? I feel like I always do. “-You should loosen up a little, and let yourself have some fun.” she continued, as she pushed the cupverse slightly closer to Hyperman. Hyperman sighed in resignation, as he grabbed the cupverse. He half-heartedly raised it towards the woman, before proceeding to absorb its contents. Hyperman soon lost track of metatime as he talked with the woman. They talked about menial things, but despite that, it felt as if the two already knew each-other.

“Very well, enlighten us then. What so-important occurrence warrants your presence here?” Asked Gais, semi-sarcastically.– Meanwhile, in the capital monocosm of beyond, Soci Gahir was in the company of Gais Thenyion. “Soci, it has been a metawhile!” Gais proclaimed, delighted to see him again. “Tell me, what news do you bring?” “Unfortunately, my presence does not herald positive omens.” replied Soci grimly. “My connection to the External Hazard has revealed to me some disturbing occurrences recently. Attacks all throughout Existence are mounting at an alarming rate, increasing in size and intensity.” “I hope you do not mean to imply what I think you do.” Gais said with concern. Before the conversation could continue, they were interrupted by the arrival of another being. Gabriel flew down towards them from the logical ground, before his wings folded behind him and he strided on foot. Gais scowled at him. “Gabriel, you do not belong here. You know very well that you have been discharged by the task force-” “-for ‘mutiny and abandonment’, yes I know. But that is not why I am here. I have better things to do than grovel at your feet.”

Gabriel pulled up a display video of Hyperman that he had recorded with his suit's bodycam. “A version of him has come here. He's clearly an outsider with no knowledge of what has happened, however it is the people who I am worried about.”

Gais intently studied The Recruiter, as if trying to discern her motives. “Alright, what is it that you need help with?”“So, you worry about ‘the people’ now? Very rich coming from you.” Replied Gais. “No, I believe there is cause to listen.” Replied The Recruiter, as she teleported into the monocosm. “Who are you?” Demanded Gais, as he rose up. He suspiciously glared at Gabriel. “Did you bring her here?” The Recruiter shook her head. “No, I can assure you that he has nothing to do with my presence here. I have come to request assistance in a certain matter of mine.”

“Let me show you.” said Gais, as he psychically beamed the knowledge to The Recruiter. The Recruiter then saw the club….and Hyperman in it.“I am in search of a certain object within this beyond bubble – a shield. It holds a great significance to me and my task.” Gais was confused, but continued to indulge The Recruiter. “The rest of the God Council won’t like this…alright. Give me the energetic signature of the shield, and may be able to calibrate its location.” The Recruiter obliged, passing the signature on to Gais. After some metamoments, he came up with an answer “it seems that it is located in some kind of club megastructure, in the Creator godverse of one of our monocosms.” “Which one?” asked the Recruiter.

The man laughed. “Oh, you are mistaken, my friend. You have quite a lot in fact. But the question is not a matter of what you have to offer…” He reached underneath the table, and brought out a hefty ornate knight shield. It was almond-shaped, rounded at the bottom and pointed at the top “-but what I do.”– By now, Hyperman was exchanging jokes with beings who didn’t even understand his modality of communication. But then, Hyperman suddenly came to his senses as The Recruiter remotely jostled him, and he remembered what he was here for. Damn it! How long have I been stuck here?! He thought to himself, as he stumbled through the club in disorientation. Hyperman was then alerted to a raspy voice that spoke to him: “Tell me, you a gamblin’ man?” Hyperman whipped around to face the source of the voice. It was a “man”, or what appeared like one, sitting at a table in a nearby corner as he fanned a deck of cards between his fingers. “Well, I don’t have anything to gamble.” Hyperman shrugged.

“I take your power. And by that, I mean rip all of the alom from your form and absorb it.”Hyperman’s full attention had been captured now. He sat down at the table across from the man. “This shield has changed many hands, claws, tentacles and other assorted appendages. And now, it has come under my custody. But, perhaps you maynext have this – if you play your cards right.” the man said, as he shuffled his cards in a flashy fashion. “Who are you?” Hyperman asked. “Don’t worry too much about that, Julius. Just call me ‘The Dealer’.” he said with a wide grin. At first, Hyperman was caught off guard by the fact that this being knew his name. But upon learning that he was The Dealer, it made more sense to him. He knew of The Dealer in his native monocosm, and remembered that he had the ability to gaze into opponents’ minds. This version of The Dealer likely could do the same. Of course along with that, Hyperman also knew of many other things regarding The Dealer. So much, in fact, that he could write an entire 2,203-word inscripverse entry about him. Hyperman narrowed his eyes from behind his mask, before he made his decision. “Alright, let’s just cut to the chase – name your challenge.” he said, leaning forward. The Dealer’s grin widened further. “Now that’s a good sport.” he chuckled. “In truth, there is not really any ‘challenge’. Rather, but a simple game of cards. You win, you get the Shield.” “And if I lose…?” Hyperman slowly asked.

Hyperman then had an idea. He decided to fill his mind with as many random thoughts as possible, cluttering it and making it much harder for The Dealer to sort through it to discover Hyperman’s strategy. The Dealer’s cheery tone was rapidly fading, as he began immersing himself deeper into the game and playing more seriously. He was becoming irritable, and Hyperman further leaned into it. He felt a fleeting moment of triumph, feeling as of the tables had turned. But then, The Dealer was next to wear a smug grin as he placed down his card. It was a card that, for all of Hyperman's strategizing, he had neglected to plan for. This card toppled all that Hyperman had built, and secured a swift victory for The Dealer, who grinned sinisterly.Hyperman gulped nervously at this thought. With the Constant, only a portion of Hyperman’s alom was damaged/removed for him to be made mortal. If all of his alom were removed, he would certainly be dead. It was a part of his very anatomy. He waved these worries away however, not allowing himself to be deterred from his goal. “Alright, let’s begin.” he said, as he took a deck of cards and began the game. As Hyperman stared across the table at his opponent, he could not help but feel slightly unnerved by The Dealer’s unchanging warm demeanor, with a permanent smile plastered across his face. Damn, this guy’s got a good poker face. “Indeed I do.” Hyperman then remembered that The Dealer could read his mind, which meant he knew all of his thoughts. Ah, oh crap! Don’t think about anything weird, don’t think about anything weird! Don’t imagine cows- “-Please don’t finish that thought.” The Dealer interrupted.

“It's too bad…” the Dealer carelessly said, looking at his fingernails . “You nearly had me there.” He then created a “come here” motion with his hand at Hyperman. “Pay up.”

Hyperman shot up from his seat, throwing the chair aside. “The fuck I will!”

The Dealer grinned again. “Ah, I see now. So you wanna play a different type of game then?” He said as he stood up from his seat as well. “A good ol' fashioned, mano-a-mano asskicking?” He removed his jacket and fastened his tie, punching his fists in the air to size up Hyperman.

“What is going on?” asked Gabriel. The Recruiter showed him what she saw, and then wordlessly, he unfurled his wings and flew away.Hyperman cracked his neck and knuckles. “Let’s go.” The Dealer and Hyperman went to blows, throwing punches at each-other. At that moment, one of the Melodic Pantheon’s members, Savage, decided to play some accompanying music after seeing the battle from afar. – The Recruiter, who was remotely viewing the spectacle, saw the fight between Hyperman and The Dealer begin. She displayed an expression of concern.

Hyperman fell down, and noticed that his mask had been cracked by The Dealer. He glared up at The Dealer, as he jumped up and threw a roundhouse kick at him. The Dealer caught it, and spun Hyperman around before flinging him away. Hyperman crashed into a nearby wall, quickly recovering as he charged right back towards The Dealer.– The Dealer laughed haughtily. “I’ll have you know, that I have downloaded the abilities of the most advanced martial artists in The Barrel!” he declared, his body contorting itself into impossible and intricate positions as he fought Hyperman.
